Stephan Kraemer

Since 1990 I have become closely associated with belgian pianist and composer Wim Mertens. Our almost 30 year collaboration must be one of the longest standing in the music industry. I have recorded and mixed over 600 songs with him, ranging from intimate piano-solo works to symphonic orchestras. I have also recorded the music for many feature films for which he composed the soundtrack. He is widely known for his work and we regularly tour the world from Greece to Mexico with various ensembles. He has given me a deep understanding of music, of the limitations of notation and the importance of never losing track of an initial emotion - and I.... have given him great sound (or so I hope).
