Impuls Studios
From 1992 until 2005 I owned and ran Impuls Studio - a 4-room recording complex close to the old flemish university town of Leuven. It contained two full recording studios with their own control room, one equipped with an SSL G-Series board, 32-track Otari digital and 24-track Otari analogue deck and the other with a huge german board, the ADT Magnum complimented by an Otari 24-track analogue deck. Both studios were in time upgraded to tapeless recording with Logic and RME hardware and included a very complete selection of microphones and instruments. Monitoring and acoustics were supplied by dutch company Stage Accompany.
In 2005 I sold the studio and a year later it closed its doors for good. A few of the better selling albums I worked on were produced there, so soak up the atmosphere and check out some of the pictures and films collected here.
